    My dad took me to LongHorn for lunch, we had the best waitress, Coley. She was attentive but not intrusive, super pleasant young woman. Food was outstanding! I had the Caesar salad with blackened salmon. My dad had the sirloin and a salad.

    My first food review as I will be doing plenty more alone in my adventures everyday on the road. This place was very quick to seat, sat me facing the door which is always appreciated. Gave me a new server, second day on the job. His name was Aaron, gave me impeccable service, as I saw everyone was getting. All laughter and love in here. The staff was friendly and seemed to work great together as a team. If I ever come back to Birmingham I will definitely be back. All the other places in the area seem to be busy and thriving as well. Great visit! Had a medium rare steak which was cooked to perfection which is not often at steakhouses this side of the country it seems. I enjoyed my meal as well. Immediately after writing this, I noticed a couple who had been sat immediately after me still waiting for any kind of service, must be something uncommon as a manager approached them shortly after I noticed them and started correcting the situation, he was very polite and asked to help them in any way possible. The server that did end up handling them looked as though she was over loaded already with tables. I noticed an apology to someone as they were leaving was a common occurrence. I had originally intended for this review to be completely positive but after noticing the negatives I had to be honest with that as well.

    Over all great, bathrooms needs some cleaning up, but inside was fine, looks like every longhorn in the USA, got off there lunch menu and the chicken sandwich was huge . Waitress was nice . It was about 12:30 on a Saturday and was seated quickly.

    I had a great time at LongHorn with my kids! I cannot think of anything being off. My steak was delicious, and I am picky when it comes to having a good steak. I don't eat much red meat, so I am not shy about sending back my steak was it not cooked or seasoned as promised! My rib-eye steak was perfectly tender, cooked to point, not too salty, well seasoned but not overwhelmingly so, and still nice and warm despite being well rested! The kids' meal was great as well. The french fries were nice and crunchy, and their grilled chicken stripes were very tasty and not overcooked. The kitchen spent some time prepping the kids' meals. Many restaurants don't! The place was half-full. Service was quite present at the table. Quite; old-fashion chary ambiance; not freezing A/C cold; clean restrooms. Hard to beat spot for a good family time around a good steak!
